Once you have completed the application form, handed in the documentation and passed the personal interview, your application, together with a report from your interviewer, is reviewed by the university’s Admissions Committee.
The Admissions Committee is made up of university staff members who will jointly assess your suitability as a candidate.
You will be informed of the Admissions Committee’s decision in writing. If you’reaccepted, you’ll receive one of two admission statuses:
- Conditional admission: Your admission is subject to certain conditions determined by the Admissions Committee. You are required to complete your high school studies and to obtain a minimum grade which meets IE University’s entry requirements. Once you finish your high school studies, you will have to send your final grades to the Admissions Committee and, if you have met the requirements of your conditional admission offer, you will be granted definitive admission.
- Definitive admission: Your application meets IE University entry requirements, and your admission offer is definitive.
PLACE RESERVATION
With both types of admission you can pay the reservation fee, guaranteeing yourself a place on your chosen undergraduate program.
Admission to IE University does not necessarily mean you are guaranteed a place on the undergraduate program you have chosen. Places are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, strictly by order of payment.
You can reserve your place by paying a non-refundable reservation fee of €5,000 for the Bachelor in Business Administration program and €3,000 for all other bachelor’s programs and dual degrees. The documents you need to make this payment will be included in your letter of acceptance (by email). You can also find information about our fees and payment options here.
Please note the place reservation deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. It will be deducted from the total tuition fees for the academic year.
The place reservation will also enable you to obtain a student visa in Spain. You can contact our Student Services Department for more information.
