Friends of Seniors

This month, we bring you Friends of Seniors, an organization of volunteers doing their part to help our elders. Its executive director and co-founder is East Fishkill’s Susan Davidson, a humble person who keeps herself behind the scenes. She insisted our cover story be only about the volunteers, because “the program is nothing without them,” she told us. Now in its 18th year and trying to rebuild its network of volunteers to pre-pandemic levels, Susan makes it east to help. She explains that the amount of time put in is up to each volunteer.
