The work on the left is from a series titled "Morphogenesis". Morphogenesis is a branch of biology concerned with the origins (genesis) of organic form (Morphos). Form is, of course, a primary concern of the visual arts, and the exploration of the origins of visual form, organic or not, is the inspiration behind this series of works.
